Gearlocks are very effective, visible deterrents to prevent vehicle theft. It is a trusted system that has been the choice of added vehicle security over the years by most insurance companies and is still being enforced in governmental vehicles for example.
Although the simple u-type shackle gearlocks are still being used, internal gearlocks have been adapted to suit the latest vehicle models and are concealed in your gear lever console to complement the vehicle’s interior (please note not available on certain models).
